Sacred convocation 2021

Sacred Convocation is Friday, May 28, 7:00 p.m. ONLINE

Alberta Health has determined that no ceremonies are being allowed in-person, which significantly impacts our plans for holding the Sacred Convocation live on site. Thus, we have pre-recorded each portion separately and stitched them into a seamless but dignified Sacred Convocation service for the premiere on our YouTube channel at 7 p.m. on May 28. Thank you to all the students, faculty, staff, and others who helped make this year's Sacred Convocation happen.

Participate in this significant streamed seminary event in your personal space as we install a new faculty member, affirm colloquy pastors, and confer the MDiv academic degree ... also thanking and praising God for another year of forming servants for Jesus' sake under the theme "Feed my Sheep." Here is the link: ... (this link will also be available on our Facebook).

Even though Sacred Convocation is an online event, CLS will still be collecting an offering. (

Online donations are accepted by credit card, debit card, or paypal, through the link on our website or YouTube channel. Cheques can be sent to:

Concordia Lutheran Seminary, 7040 Ada Blvd. Edmonton, Alberta, T5B 4E3.

A tithe of any funds designated for the Sacred Convocation offering will be donated to ethnic Lutheran ministries in Canada.
